To ensure a safe, peaceful, and memorable experience for everyone on the ranch, please review our official park guidelines, rates, and policies.
Welcome to Diamond M Ranch Resort
We are excited to have you join us here at the Diamond M Ranch Resort. Our viewing deck is open 24/7 and it’s a great way to see all of the wildlife surrounding us here at the resort, which could include caribou, moose, and our resident bald eagles.
We encourage humans to stay on the gravel and other obvious trails to protect the delicate native environment and encourage new growth.
Reservation & Occupancy Rates
Arrivals, Departures & Occupancy Baseline
Reservations will not be credited for late arrival or early departure.
Rates are calculated based on two (2) guests per site/unit. Additional guests above two (2) must be declared and added at the time of reservation or will be added to the reservation by staff upon check-in. Charges are applied as follows:
- RV, Camping, Tenting & Pasture Sites: $5.00 per person, per night
- Lodging Units: $15.00 per person, per night
Vehicle Allowances & Additional Units
Rates are calculated with the allowance for one RV and one personal vehicle. Total vehicle count must be declared and added at the time of reservation or will be added to the reservation by staff upon check-in.
All vehicles in addition to the stated allowance—including but not limited to additional personal vehicles, boats, utility trailers, storage trailers, and motorcycles—will be charged an additional $10.00 per vehicle, per night.
All units—including tents, vans, trucks, cars, etc.—on all sites including the pasture must be registered and paid for. Additional tents may only be set up or added with prior permission from the office upon payment of the additional fee based on the seasonal rate.
Campground Rules & Safety
5 MPH Speed Limit
The park speed limit is 5 mph anywhere on the resort and is strictly enforced for the safety of children, pedestrians, and wildlife.
Quiet Hours & Curfew
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily. All youth must return to their respective unit by 10:00 PM. Parents/adult supervisors are responsible for children’s safety at all times.
Fish Cleaning Protocol
When using the fish cleaning station, place all fish waste in the totes provided and clean the station after use. Never dispose of fish waste in standard camp dumpsters.
Natural Artesian Well Water
We have an artesian well high in tannins. The water has a light tea color due to organic staining from native vegetation. It is tested regularly, safe for drinking, and many consider it to carry natural benefits.
Trash & Park Appearance
You are responsible for taking all trash to the nearest dumpster. No trash may be left at sites. Diamond M Ranch Resort is not responsible for lost items.
Check-Out & Check-In
Check-out is 12:00 Noon. Check-in is 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Please contact the front office in advance for early or late arrival arrangements.
Enforced Fees & Lodging Terms
Pet Policy & $500 Unauthorized Lodging Fee
Diamond M Ranch Resort has a strict pet policy. Pets must be on a leash and may not be left unattended outside your RV. All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of properly. Some lodging units are pet-friendly with an approved $25/night pet fee (minimum 2-night stay). Bringing a pet into an unapproved lodging unit will warrant a $500 charge to your credit card.
Fire Pits & $100 Courtyard Lawn Fee
Fire pits are located in each full hook-up site; please do not move or exchange them without office permission. No fire pits are allowed on courtyard grass unless 18” above the ground or an approved Solo Stove. There is a $100 fee for using a fire pit on the courtyard lawn area that does not meet this standard.
Non-Smoking Lodging Units ($500 Charge)
All Diamond M Ranch Resort buildings and lodging accommodations are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside any resort building warrants an immediate $500 charge to your credit card. When outdoors, properly extinguish and dispose of all cigarette and cigar butts in trash receptacles.
Fish Processing in Units ($500 Charge) & Towel Damage
Fish processing in any Diamond M Ranch Resort lodging unit is strictly prohibited and warrants an immediate $500 charge to your credit card. Dedicated commercial fish cleaning tables and totes are provided on the property. Use of resort towels for fish handling or cleaning is strictly forbidden and full replacement costs will be charged to your card.
Pasture Sites Rules
- Only above-ground fire pits guaranteed not to burn roots are permitted in the pasture—absolutely no fires on the ground.
- Generators must be turned off by 10:00 PM in observance of quiet hours. Generators may be turned on again at 7:00 AM.
- All pasture sites, vehicles, and tents must be registered and paid for at the front office.
State Law PROHIBITS:
Alaska state health, safety, and fire regulations strictly forbid the following on campground premises:
- ✕ Open fires. Use properly contained fire pits only.
- ✕ Pets in public buildings. All pets must be on leashes and may not be chained or left unattended outside your RV. (Please clean up after your pets).
- ✕ Drainage of sink (gray) water in camping area.
- ✕ Open alcoholic beverages in public buildings.
- ✕ Dish washing in shower house or laundry room.
- ✕ Smoking in public buildings.
Release / Disclaimer
I do hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries (including death), or losses that I may sustain or incur if any while attending, engaging, practicing, participating or witnessing, hiking, fishing, riding, or any other activity and/or certain event(s) occurring in or about the premises. I hereby assume full risk, waive all claims and release and hold Diamond M Ranch Resort, LLC its instructors, or partners of said program or event, individually or otherwise, harmless for any and all liability, claims, suits, damages, expenses, fees actions, or rights of action or judgments as a result of injury or death to myself or members of my family or heirs, or my guests, or damage, destruction or loss to my property, which in any way relates to, arises out of, or is in any way connected with my presence on the premises, or my participation in events of activities thereon, or the negligent acts or omissions of the releases or any other third party.
I am fully aware and understand that Diamond M Ranch Resort LLC does not have on or about the premises, or employ or contract with any medical services, provisions for ordinary or emergency medical services.
In consideration of my participation in and the use of the Premises or Facilities, including but not limited to: fishing holes, mountain hikes, farm tours, campfires I hereby release and covenant not to sue the owner of the premises (releases), shareholders, directors, officers, employees, representatives agents, affiliates and lessees from any and all claims resulting from any physical injury that may occur to me while participating in any program or event sponsored by Diamond M Ranch Resort, LLC.
