Diamond M Ranch Resort FAQ’s
Do you have wifi? Yes and it’s free
How do we go fishing? There are so many great opportunities for fishing here on the Kenai Peninsula – call us in advance and we can help you book the perfect fishing trip, or any other excursion you are dreaming of (last minute bookings are difficult during peak times). If you are looking for a self-guided fishing plan, we have maps for that too. We are here to help make your stay the BEST!!
Is the water safe to drink? We have an Artesian well with Tannin Water. The water is a little tea colored due to organic staining from vegetation. Many consider it to have medicinal value. It is tested and is safe for drinking.
Do you have laundry facilities? We have two onsite laundry facilities with hours from 7 am to 10 pm daily.
Can we go up on the view deck? Yes it’s open to our guests 24/7. Please come and enjoy the view.
How far in advance should I make a reservation for an RV site? We recommend 4-6 weeks for June and August, but unless an event is happening there is usually space for drop-ins. July 10-31 reservations should be 3 to 6 months in advance, but we sometimes have a few days here or there in full hook-up or overflow parking in the pasture for last minute requests. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Will my reservation request guarantee a specific RV campsite? A confirmed RV reservation guarantees a site for the dates specified, but not for a specific campsite because we give priority to our seasonal guests over our monthly guests over our weekly guests. We do encourage early reservations and requests for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices, or a campsite area. We do our best to accommodate your preferences based on when you made your reservation.
Do you have full hook ups? All of our sites have 30/50amp hook ups, sewer, and water.
Do you allow tent camping? We have a great designated tent camping area. We allow you to set up a tent in your RV site, but there is a camping fee associated with that.
What is your pet policy? We are a pet friendsly resort. There are no additional fees for pets in our RV park. Please bring a copy of your pet’s vaccination records, keep them leashed at all times and do not leave them unattended. Proper curbing and cleaning up after your pets is also required.
Should I bring my bike? Yes, we are located just off a beautiful bike path with access to over 20 miles of scenic riding around Kenai and Soldotna.
Do you have seasonal sites? Yes we do, please contact our reservation desk for pricing.
Do I need a fishing license? Yes, you can buy them online at https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/Store/Customers/Create
When do the fish run? King Salmon: June & July, Sockeye/Red: June-Aug, Coho/Silver: Aug-Oct, Halibut: Memorial Day to Labor Day, Rainbow Trout: June-Aug
